The site is nice but the elderly owners arent, we booked a caravan in 2017 for summer 2019 as there always full. I was called several times to try to get me to rent the "Dog" caravan for summer 2018, I declined because they stink. The owner called and told me he would be changing a caravan and we could rent the replacement for 2018. When we got there they had not changed the Caravan and in stank. My complaint was met with" you can have your money back!", after boking the family holiday there, he may as well told me to F""" off, I was furious! After getting really angry they very, very reluctantly and with a seriously bad attitude swapped the bedding and we spent the rest of the holiday with the windows open and didnt put anything on the wet floor. We left a day early as they had ruined our holiday and we had been coming here for years but no more. All the local beaches except this one ban dogs in the summer, which means the paths, car park and local beach are covered in dog mess. Children can't play on the beach without Dogs snatching there balls or Frisbees and jumping up on them. Theres no beach for hours at high tide, just a strip of dirty rocks. Its more for pensioners than families, very poor local eateries. RE: Response, they called and told me a Caravan (that must have been too poor to rent) was to be replaced and that it would now be available. They took our money and my wife and I booked time off, booked a hotel for the drive down, 6 hours! And all the other expenses involved in a family holiday and the Caravan had not been replaced and was very damp and smelly. Their response is that they were kind enough to offer a refund! Amazing arrogance after such deceit.
This is a spectacular caravan and camping park. Stunning views, excellent clean facilities and a friendly welcome. Special thank you to staff who helped us when our touring caravan sky light broke.Lovely place, looking forward to going back.
Nearly missed this one because it is right at the bottom of the road. Cheaper than the two sites before it on the road and far superior. Proper reception block with friendly staff. Superb toilet block with shower rooms with toilet and basin included. Washing up area is inside and looks like a proper kitchen. We had a hard standing plot to pitch up on with superb views over the sea. Walking distance of St David's but up a country lane.
Amazing site perched on top of the coast above Caerfai Bay. Wonderful facilities, very clean and well equipped site. Would definitely recommend. We arrived late but a helpful chary showed us which pitched were still available and we paid on the way out. Great set up.
First time we came to Caerfai Bay campsite the weather was perfect, sun and a light breeze, we had a fantastic time. This year we've had to deal with 57mph gusts and it's still just as good! Great site, facility are decent, the family field is well situated with beautiful views across the bay. Spectacular during a lightening storm and equally beautiful on a hot summer's day.
