I feel safe there
I cannot fault Southlands Guest House - value for money! Very friendly and attentive staff, fantastic breakfast and only a short walk away from the town centre - 10/10!
Smelt of stale smoke and dampness. Dirty cluttered room with no lightbulbs or electric sockets. Rather sleep in my car. Awful place.
Dirty place, watch out for '' stains '' on allegedly clean towels, dirty glasses and even contents of bin tipped down the toilet, not even flushed.These are the most outstanding criticisms, there are others. Sounds a bit far fetched? Something out of a movie?No, sadly not, it's for real. This is my own personal experience of this boarding house.
Stayed here a few weeks ago and would certainly recommend, Chrissy is a fantastic host as well!
