Steak and ale pie with mash and peas was excellent and right by river. Staff changed TV to cartoons to keep my nephews entertained too... dogs allowed in bar area which had a nice window seat

Top marks. Nice place, nice people, good beer, interesting menu of familiar looking items but with a house flourish. The dining room is a bit lively because of its acoustics but we didn't find that a problem.
Great place.....reasonable prices...good food and smaller bites available. Down by the river and dogs allowed to boot...perfect! Dining area available, in the bar or eat out....
